LBL took a much-needed break.
(It's just a few busy moms who don't pay ourselves so we can buy more books ...)
What's been happening in the background?
We received several more book donations from the Wellesley Public Library.
We also bought lots of new books with the financial donations we'd received. (There were lots of others too)
We delivered LGBTQ+ kids' books to OUTMetroWest in Framingham, MA for their lending library shelf. We were able to give them everything from picture books to young adult novels.
We made a connection with a domestic violence program in Southern Maine, and we'll be delivering a huge carload of books, a library cart, and a little blue locker next week!
So that's what LBL has been up to.
